Our bodies are always communicating with one another, and they’re authentic.  The beauty of this is that you can learn to follow your body to know who to trust, what to do when, and where to find meaning in your life.  The challenge is that your body may reveal things to others that you wish it didn’t.  Have you had this experience?  The key to empowering yourself in your body language is getting to know and love your body in its vital and authentic transmission.  If your body is going to tell the truth anyway, learning to listen to and relate with your body is key to your personal and relational freedom!  Somatic Movement is a life-changing tool that can help you shed layers of hurt, shame, and fear that we’ve all been programmed with by our societal conditioning, and that can shut you out of the joyful and easy authenticity I imagine you, like me, long to live from.

I’d like to invite you to the BraveSpace® Body Language Mini-Series.  In this 7-day experience you will be given 15 minutes a day to connect joyfully with your physicality.  I will guide you through 5 simple movements that I’ve curated to enliven your relationship with your body, to connect you with others, and to deepen your ability to meet internal emotional experiences.  These are gentle movements that will increase your physical and emotional skill yet are not strenuous.  Key to this process is that with each movement I will also offer you imagery, anatomy, and context so that you can improvise and explore beyond the choreography.  Improvisation is the most potent kind of learning because it taps the innate wisdom of your body—you will be led to find the freedom, flow, and joy of being more fully yourself.  This practice of guided improvisation hones presence, and thereby translates also to being more generous and empowered in relationship with others.

Our journey together will culminate on the 7th day in a live BraveSpace® Body Temple.  The temple is a group session where you will be held and guided in the exquisite power of communing with others in the shared intention of authenticity and belonging in our bodies.  This will be offered online on zoom, or if you’re in Boise you’re welcome to come to the event in-person at SomaWorks Studio.  A Q&A session will follow so that we can process all that you’ve learned over the week and make sure you are ready to apply our work to your body, life, and relationships.  The Body Temple and Q&A combined will be 2 hours long.

When you sign up for the series you will receive a coupon code that you can share with your loved ones so that they can participate for free!  It is my mission as a somatic facilitator to help everyone who is ready to connect with their bodies to do so for a more joyful and authentic experience of life.  I believe somatic practice is a potent medicine that answers many of the needs of our time.  Tuning into ourselves is a gift to others, and so I want to offer this to your friends, family, and students (if you’re a teacher) for free.

The cost for this mini-series, including the live temple, is just $47.  The series will launch on Monday Jan 27th and you will receive one video a day for 6 days to work with on your own timing.  The Body Temple and Q&A will take place on Sunday February 2nd at 2pm MDT and will be 2 hours in total.  It will be recorded in the occasion that you can’t be there live.
